What are pellets
Wooden pellets constitute efficient fuel obtained from biomass processing and manufactured in 100% with the use of natural components such as chips, sawdust, cereals straw, rape straw and energy crop pressed under high pressure.
The energy contained in the original raw material is condensed to a great extent, thus producing fuel with very good energy properties and minimum ash contents. Combustion of the pellet is accompanied with zero emission of CO2, because, during its growth, the plant absorbs as much carbon dioxide as released into the atmosphere during the combustion process. Combustion of 1 ton of certified pellets results in 5 kg of ash on average, which can be used as a mineral fertilizer owing to its high contents of elements important for the growth of plants. The ash contains scarce quantities of carbon and heavy metals.
Pellets constitute pure fuel in many aspects. It is both clean in use and for the environment.
